Engineering<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Within our engineering department, we have a number of engineers with substantial knowledge and broad experience. Many of our projects require careful planning and proper documentation conforming with the relevant industry standards. Using advanced tools, we can simulate entire projects in advance and consequently operate safely, securely and with outstanding quality.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

In-house engineering<\/strong>
Rule of thumb in Nordic Crane Engineering is that no two jobs are identical. This implies that for every job handled by the engineering department there will be generated project specific documents such as;<\/p>\n\n\n

  • Lift plans<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Transport plans<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Method statements and risk assessments<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Load-out procedures<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Calculations<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Etc. \u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n

    Our tools<\/strong>
    There are many factors that can account for challenges when executing lifts or transports. Everything from weight, large radius and height, but also confined spaces, narrow lifting angles and weak surfaces can complicate working conditions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We employ a variety of different engineering tools ranging from 2D\/3D modelling, mathematical calculations, and simulations to demonstrate the feasibility of our assignments. These tools enable us to visualize and plan the execution process effectively. In close cooperation with our fabricators, we can ensure the confidence and certainty of the established documentations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
