REFERENCE PROJECTS:
Aker Verdal – Lifting management and full-scale crane delivery
Nordic Crane held a project agreement with Aker Verdal where we provided lifting supervisors and site managers responsible for planning, preparing, and coordinating all lifting operations at the facility.
We mobilised 15 cranes from 100 to 800 tonnes, including operators working in 24-hour shifts.
A total of 125 employees from Nordic Crane were involved over 10 months.
The project included continuous lift planning, safety management, and operational execution in a demanding industrial environment.
ST1 Gothenburg – Framework agreement for daily operations and turnarounds
Nordic Crane operates under a framework agreement with ST1 in Gothenburg, delivering daily services and support during major turnaround and shutdown operations — most recently in spring 2025.
During the latest turnaround we mobilised 25 cranes in addition to regular deliveries.
We also provided engineering services, including method statements, lift plans, and risk assessments.
Lifting supervisors were present on-site with responsibility for planning and coordination of all lifting activities.
Preem Lysekil – Long-term partnership and extensive crane capacity
Nordic Crane maintains an ongoing framework agreement with Preem in Lysekil covering daily services and turnaround support.
For larger activities we mobilise up to 50 cranes in addition to standing deliveries.
Engineering support is included, such as method statements, lift planning, and risk assessments.
The collaboration with Preem spans more than 40 years, and we are a key partner in critical operations.
Borealis Stenungsund – Over 25 years of operations and major turnarounds
Nordic Crane has maintained a framework agreement with Borealis Stenungsund for over 25 years, delivering daily services and turnaround support.
During the major shutdown project in 2015, we mobilised 70 cranes of varying capacities, as well as engineering services, lifting supervisors, and site managers.
The collaboration dates back nearly 40 years, and we remain a key supplier for heavy lifting, safety, and planning operations.
INEOS/Inovyn Rafnes – Turnaround support and technical lifting expertise
Nordic Crane provides a broad range of services to INEOS/Inovyn Rafnes, including turnaround support — most recently during TAR25 in October 2025. A total of 15 cranes were mobilised in addition to standard deliveries.
Engineering support included lift planning, risk assessments, rigging teams, and lifting supervisors responsible for coordination of all lifting operations. The project required extensive documentation, precision, and safety management.
Boden – Stegra Steel Plant (Sweden) – Full-scale project 2024–2027
Nordic Crane holds a project agreement with the Stegra steel plant in Boden, providing lifting supervisors and site managers responsible for planning and coordination of all lifting operations during construction.
We are mobilising 30+ cranes ranging from 50 to 1,350 tonnes, including operators in continuous 24-hour shifts.
More than 70 employees are involved throughout the project period 2024–2027.
This is one of the largest industrial projects in the Nordic region, and Nordic Crane plays a central role in heavy lifting, logistics, and safety delivery.
